I loved working with David’s family to find a different take on a sports Bar Mitzvah party. David is a kid who loves watching sports and dreams of being a sports announcer someday. He wanted a sports Bar Mitzvah party with its own twist. With a talented vendor team, we put together a sports-themed party with some vintage, rustic flair.
Guests got their ticket from the Will Call board to find their tables. The board was made of distressed wood and the tickets were designed to look aged and vintage.
This custom 4-sided bar featured baseball scoreboards and adult cocktails and distressed wood.
Guests were seated at a mix of farm tables and rounds. Each table was named for a defunct baseball, basketball, football or hockey sports team and featured their old logo. David and his family put a ton of thought into the teams and which guests sat at which table.
It was a pleasure to work with this family for David’s Bat Mitzvah party and, though mom was a woman a few words, they were pretty happy too:
I didn’t worry about anything throughout the process or on the event day. Brynne kept me on track with planning meetings, reminder emails and finalizing everything with the vendors.
