Planning Emery’s tropical Bat Mitzvah was a total joy. Her family wanted something bold, bright, and full of energy—and the tropical theme gave us the perfect excuse to go big on color and creativity. We transformed The Renegade in Arlington, VA into a vibrant celebration space with a hot pink and teal color palette and playful pops of yellow throughout. From the moment guests walked in, it felt like an island paradise.
The Renegade’s high-energy atmosphere was the perfect match for the party Emery and her family envisioned: a fun and colorful with tons of dancing, personality-packed decor, and thoughtful touches in every corner. Vibrantly colored linens and seats set the tone, complemented by floral arrangements nestled in pineapples, adding a fun and festive touch to each table.
Hot pink draping added a pop of color, while the venue’s screens displayed images of tropical paradises. Palm trees and floral accents adorned the stair rails, and colorful paper lanterns hung overhead, helping to create an island atmosphere.
The lanterns provided a beautiful accent to photos, capturing the packed dance with style.
The candle lighting ceremony was accented with tropical flowers and leaves, keeping that piece of the celebration on-theme.
A boogie board sign-in board featuring Emery’s logo perfectly captured the tropical vibe, giving guests a fun way to leave their messages.
We loved working with Emery’s family and they were pretty happy too!
