Another big year for Pop Color Events is in the books! It’s been a doozy! Business is booming and I’m even more excited for 2018, 2019 and beyond!
The year started slow, as January often does, but by February things were cooking! I celebrated a globally-inspired Bar Mitzvah at Temple Rodef Shalom.
Then in March was Olivia’s colorful, balloon filled Bat Mitzvah party at the Hyatt Regency Dulles.
April brought Tara’s under the sea Bat Mitzvah party in Woodbridge, Virginia. Then May followed up with twins! Cori and Spencer’s B’nai Mitzvah party in Beltsville, Maryland was too cool for school with an edgy venue and graffiti-inspired decor.
A busy summer brought new changes to my business with integrating new CRM systems and streamlining how I handle new inquiries.
August was my farthest Mitzvah yet! I drove all the way to Fredrick, Virginia to Belle Grove Plantation, a beautiful venue on the water. The weather was gorgeous for Michaela and Jacob’s outdoor dance party.
September was crazy with 3 back to back Mitzvahs, each one so different from the others, even though two were at the same venue!
There was Jake’s hockey-themed Bar Mitzvah party at Pinstripes Georgetown.
And Lily’s luau Bat Mitzvah party was also at Pinstripes Georgetown. I love how different the same space can look with the right lighting and decor!
Also in September was Shoshana’s sparkly silver and blue Bat Mitzvah at Rock Creek Mansion in Bethesda. Following that busy September, was a slightly slower October with my first repeat client. Maya’s Bat Mitzvah was sophisticated and heartfelt at Temple Sinai in DC.
November was Daniel’s outer space Bar Mitzvah which glowed. Followed by a gorgeous around the world Bat Mitzvah for Gabriela in December. Photos still to come!
Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for an amazing year.
