We had so much fun working with Sarah and her family to bring her purple book-themed Bat Mitzvah vision to life. Sarah is a book lover with a passion for all things purple, so we knew we had to create a celebration that combined her favorite color with her love for reading. The result? We transformed The Westin Arlington Gateway into a literary-inspired party filled with thoughtful details, vibrant hues, and joyful energy.
Bookmarks with purple tassels served as both escort cards and keepsakes, guiding guests to their seats while nodding to Sarah’s favorite pastime.
Balloons in various shades of purple with silver streamers floated above the tables, accented by stacks of books. Each table was named after one of Sarah’s favorite novels, adding a personal touch that guests loved.
Fun signature cocktail names kept the adult bar lively and on-theme, with creative titles inspired by literary classics.
Purple tote bag favors featuring Sarah’s custom logo were both practical and stylish, giving guests a perfect place to stash their new bookmarks—or their next great read.
It was a pleasure working with Sarah’s family and they were pretty happy too!
