It was an absolute pleasure to work with Casey’s family once again for his Michael Jordan, basketball-themed Bar Mitzvah at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda. This high-energy event was filled with creative, sporty details that brought the basketball theme to life. From custom decor to interactive activities, the day was nothing short of a slam dunk!
One of the standout details was the chocolate bars that doubled as escort cards. Each bar was customized with Casey’s logo and included a seating assignment, cleverly combining a sweet treat with functionality. It was a unique and fun way to welcome guests and guide them to their tables.
The tables themselves featured a mix of centerpieces that tied into the theme beautifully. Low centerpieces were created using groupings of mirrored cubes, complete with mirrored table numbers for a sleek and modern look.
For the tall centerpieces, we incorporated Casey’s basketball-themed logo, adding height and boldness to the room. The blue napkins and silver crossback chairs gave the space an extra pop of color, perfectly complementing the basketball-inspired decor.
No basketball-themed party would be complete without a pop-a-shot basketball game, and the kids couldn’t get enough of it! It was the ultimate activity to keep them entertained and immersed in the theme.
To cap off the event, kids took home airbrushed shirts as personalized party favors. Watching them leave with their custom creations was such a fun way to end the night.
