Maddie’s Rustic Bat Mitzvah at Rocklands Farm in Poolesville, MD

Maddie’s family was the absolute sweetest and I loved working with them to put together Maddie’s special day. They also had a lovely, personal Bat Mitzvah service in their home, so stay tuned for images from that. The family wanted something a little bit different than the typical Bat Mitzvah, so a barn with additional seating in a tent fit the bill. Our goal was to make the barn feel more modern and the tent feel like a more rustic Bat Mitzvah party. Check out these images to see how we did!

Gorgeous floral, moss-covered table numbers, woodcuts and burlap added a rustic vibe to the tent.

Paper lanterns, string lights and a funky DJ set up helped to give a modern vibe to the barn.

There was also modern lounge seating overlooking the dance floor complete with custom circle pillows.

It was a pleasure to work with this family for Maddie’s rustic Bat Mitzvah party and they were pretty happy too:

Brynne really helped organize us and kept us on track.  Her recommendations for vendors were spot on, she is very detailed oriented and thought of things to ask the caterer, MC, etc. that we didn’t even know to ask.
