It was such a pleasure working with Tyler’s family again for his galaxy theme Bar Mitzvah! A few years ago, we helped them celebrate older brother Noah’s big day, so it was extra special to be back with this wonderful crew. Since we returned to Woodmont Country Club, we wanted to give Tyler a celebration that felt completely different and uniquely his. Inspired by the rich blues and purples of a nebula, we wove a galaxy print throughout the decor to bring the theme to life in a bold and colorful way.
The first of the two centerpiece styles featured floating black candles set in tall cylinders, wrapped in glowing nebula graphics. Pops of blue and purple flowers brought in some soft texture and tied everything together beautifully. We continued the color palette on the tables with bold purple napkins layered over silver chargers. Over the dance floor, glowing orbs hung like distant planets, helping to extend the theme into the party space.
The second centerpiece design included a rotating circle wrapped in the same galaxy-inspired print. This version also had floating candles, creating a soft, flickering glow throughout the room. The movement of the rotating piece added an unexpected and fun detail that caught guests’ attention.
No space-themed celebration would be complete without the perfect cocktail, a cosmo. This was fun nod to the cosmic theme and a favorite at the bar.
Tyler’s custom logo, featuring his initials, looked amazing on his acrylic sign-in board. It was a sleek and modern take on a Mitzvah classic and will be a great keepsake.
As a thank-you, Tyler’s friends left with super cozy throw blankets embroidered with Tyler’s logo. Functional, stylish, and perfect for chilly movie nights, they were a big hit.
