Pop Color Planning Advice

Are you agonizing about making a decision for your child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah? Here’s some planning advice that will make you stop in your tracks:

Your guests don’t know what you didn’t do. Only what you did.

Let that sink in.

You and your planner are the only people in the room who know what you decided to cut from the party. If you’re having trouble deciding on an MC or what type of candy to get for the candy bar or are unsure whether you need a photo booth, remember that people will only see what is in front of them on the event day. They won’t see that you decided against having charger plates or went with the smaller flower arrangements or whatever the thing is that you’re stressing about.

You and your planner are also the only people in the entire room who know exactly how everything should go. If something doesn’t go exactly as planned, guests will have no idea. Remember, they only know what they see. So if you (and I!) are cool as cucumbers, no one will know that the timeline is off or that the MC’s announcement wasn’t exactly right.

So go ahead, take a deep breath and make that decision. You can do it!
